Running a fleet of 85 plus vehicles we can collect and deliver part or full 45ft articulated loads on either flats or curtain sided trailers and meet customer needs with specific timed delivery requirements. Vehicles come equipped with self off load crane and pig trucks.

Designated contract service

Services can be designed around the individual customer’s needs. We are always prepared to acquire specialist equipment to fulfil customer demands. This could be purchasing vehicles fitted with crane or rear mounted fork truck, commonly used in the building trade to unload at customers’ premises where such facilities may not be available.

Overnight express pallet delivery service via the PALLETFORCE network

Our overnight express pallet delivery service via the PALLETFORCE network adds another dimension to our service. This affords the customer a one stop call to satisfy all his transport needs from small quarter pallets to full articulated loads.

Specialist training, fork lift, hiab, manual handling, safety

Our in house Specialist Trainer, Peter Verlander can teach Fork lift, Hiab, Manual handling, Safety and many others. Peter can do this either at our training centre in Rye or at your premises.

Storage/warehousing

We have adequate storage space at Jempsons to store pick and pack and despatch freight directly from our depot. This is normally delivered via the PALLETFORCE network and provides us with the opportunity to cater for last minute orders which customers sometimes demand.

Commercial vehicle maintenance and repair

JEMPSONS Commercials a subsidiary of John Jempson & Son Ltd, handles full maintenance and servicing of all types of commercial vehicles. It has 6 service bays, 2 pits, 3 lift jacks, brake tester and Vehicle steam wash. Full Tachograph calibration is also available.
